Troy is an admitted attorney in Montana, Colorado, and Ohio. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University and relocated to Colorado shortly after. Since joining the Mason Law Team in 2022 as an associate attorney, he has gone above and beyond to build strong relationships with his clients and specializes in helping them navigate the probate process. Troy understands how important it is for families to get back to the important things in life. When he isn't working hard for his clients, Troy can be found exploring the beauty of the mountains or enjoying a cold beer at local breweries and restaurants with friends.
I’m George Bain, and I’ve built my life and career around service, integrity, and helping others move forward with confidence. I began my journey in the Canadian Armed Forces (LR), followed by a career as a Calgary Police officer. I retired in 1988, just after the iconic Winter Olympics—an event I’ll never forget, especially witnessing the Jamaican bobsled team and Eddie the Eagle defy expectations.
In 1993, I moved to the United States and transitioned into the mortgage industry, where I discovered a new way to serve—by helping people navigate one of life’s most important financial decisions. In June 2019, I joined Fairway Independent Mortgage and found my true professional calling as a reverse mortgage planner. Today, I’m proud to serve as Vice President, Reverse Lending Initiatives.
In this role, I am dedicated to building awareness and fostering a deeper understanding of reverse mortgage solutions, for individuals aged 62 and older. I lead national outreach and educational initiatives, mentor mortgage originators, and champion transparent, ethical lending practices. A significant component of my responsibilities includes training financial advisors through structured programs and personalized guidance, enabling them to confidently integrate reverse mortgages into comprehensive retirement strategies for their clients. I also conduct lunch-and-learn presentations, offering accessible, informative sessions that promote collaboration and elevate professional knowledge. My mission is to empower financial advisors with the tools they need to provide their clients with the insights they need to experience greater freedom, flexibility, and peace of mind in retirement—because after a lifetime of hard work, they deserve financial solutions that work just as hard for them.
"I went to a dinner event hosted by Mason Law. I was very impressed with the presentation. I learned a lot and feel that I am taking the right steps at the right time. Not to mention, we got free dinner. I truly think everyone would benefit from attending this event, regardless of your age! Your future self and family will thank you."
"Paul, his associates, paralegals, and other support staff provided an excellent experience during our estate planning process. They walked us through every step of identifying assets, prepared incredible documentation, and have even continued to follow up to ensure we're taking all necessary steps post formation of our estate. We feel cared for and protected with Mason Law & Planning. You will too."
Our dinner seminars usually runs 60-90 minutes and is presented while you are having dinner.
No, this event is complimentary and includes dinner. You will not be asked to buy anything at this event.
Well, that varies based on the complexities of your situation. Unlike other estate planning attorneys who charge $350-$450 per hour, we charge a flat fee. We provide a complimentary initial consultation and then will provide you with a flat fee quote to prepare your estate plan.
Many people who attend our workshops already have some type of estate planning in place. They should use our dinner seminar as an opportunity to re-evaluate their choices or to feel more confident that their existing plan will fully protect them.
